Due to high working pressure, operating conditions and / or improper maintenance, technical problems may appear.
The most often encountered problems with this type of injector are:
a) High back leakage due to wear of the injector’s control valve, this resulting in starting engine difficulties and / or engine power loss with aggressive acceleration.
b) uncontrolled diesel loss into the cylinders, due to wear occurred on the closing surface of the injector’s nozzle in which case excessive white smoke will appear.
Starting with 2010 Total Diesel Service has invested in dedicated equipment and training courses for its staff that now allows us to do professional diagnosis and reconditioning of such injectors .Bosch Piezo injectors reconditioning involves a few precise steps going from injector disassembling, ultrasonic cleaning of all the internal components, microscopic examination for wear identification and continuing with professional refurbishment of internal components (nozzle and control valve). In the end the injector is reassembled, tested and calibrated.
